Educational resources in the main library collection will be designated by an L, LA, LB, or LC at the beginning of the call number along with the year of publication.  Example for Learning and instruction:

eBooks

If a physical copy of a book is not in the O'Grady Library, you might be able to find an ebook version in the Ebrary collection.

Books in the curriculum room

Items classified in the Curriculum Room are organized differently from the rest of the library.   Each item is marked by a "CURRIC" and the call number.


Picture books

These materials are orgainzed by the author's last name.  Example for Brothers in the wind:

Fiction

These materials are also organized by the author's last name.  Example for Alice's adventures in Wonderland:

Non-fiction

They are orgainzed according to the  Dewey Decimal system, which classifies items by number instead of letters in the following categories:

The call number will often also include the author or editor's last name.  Example for Human rights:
