EBSCO Faculty Select

We now have access to Faculty Select. This tool allows us to search for no- and low-cost materials for students, including books and book chapters. The tool will search a number of OER and open publishing sites, as well as ebooks in the EBSCO platform.

Mason OER Metafinder
A tool from the George Mason University Libraries that searches multiple sites.
OER Commons
Some materials are geared towards high school students.
University of Minnesota Open Textbook Library
CCCOER, "Find OER" page
This site is maintained by the Community College Consortium for Open Education Resources.
Open Access (Publishing in European Networks)
This site is maintained by the OAPEN Foundation in the Netherlands and includes OERs produced around the world, so many resources are in other languages.

Registry of Open Access Repositories

Many states host OER sites for materials created by their schools.

Open WA
OpenWA is a site managed by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges that includes a series of modules that give a more in-depth explanation of OERs. This site serves as a portal to other repositories used by Washington community colleges. Use the "FIND OER" link below the logo to start searching for these resources.
Open Course Library
This site collects materials created by and for Washington community colleges.
Open Oregon
Open Oregon's site specializes in collecting OERs created by community college instructors in Oregon.
OASIS
A collection of OER materials created at State of University of New York campuses.
University of Michigan Press, Digital Projects
This site collects OERs and other digital objects created at the University of Michigan.
BC Open Campus
This site is maintained by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education.

Open access books

There are several sites that allow you to search for open access books, books that were purposefully written for open access or books that have fallen into public domain. Open books are not necessarily OERs, but you can find some in these sites.
