General guidelines for Chemistry collection assessment:

Consider removal if:

• 5 (years of age)/3 (years since most recent use)/MUSTIE guidelines

• Some natural science areas change rapidly, while others are more static. Lack of circulation is a good
  indicator that the book is no longer useful. Keep basic works of significant historical or literary value. Replace worn copies with new editions (Crew, 2012, p. 57).
