Most philosophy books do not become outdated and low circulation may be of limited value in weeding decisions. Weed based on interest and use, but maintain a range of titles that explore Western and Asian philosophies. Remove scholarly treatments that have limited use unless they are part of a local community college or university curriculum. Weed books thatexplain philosophies and introductory books that are notincluded in standard lists after three years without use (Crew, 2012, p. 50-51).
